In the early hours of this Friday, six members of a well-known thug gang called Los Caracas, fell before the Yaracuy State Police, in clashes registered in the Agua Negra population,
Veroes municipality, confirmed the Secretary of Citizen Security of the Government, Rogelio Vásquez.
In the operation, a grenade, three pistols and three shotguns were seized.
The official explained that after intense intelligence work, the members of this gang, of eight members, were located, two of whom had already been discharged.
After the persecution, the criminals confronted the police commissions, being injured and taken to the hospital, where they died as a result of the injuries received.
The downcasts were known by aliases; El Manbo, El Monge, Jorge, Candelita and two brothers called Los Caraqueños.
The gang kept the producers and merchants of the Veroes municipality whipped.
Vásquez reported that this gang was involved in the murder of the Yaracuy State Police Attaché Commissioner, Joel Vargas, recorded approximately five months ago in Veroes.
He stressed that this week, with the members of Los Caracas, 8 criminals have been killed in operations in different municipalities of the state.

On the other hand, the Secretary of Citizen Security of the Government, took advantage of the occasion to report that there are no records of any kidnapping in Yaracuy, in response to the wave of rumors that have circulated in recent days in the entity.
He said that they do not have any registered complaint, but they are attentive to any eventuality.
