In Bolivia they mobilize for peace, respect and equality

Women's and student organizations are mobilizing this Friday for peace, respect and equality, in the country's capital, La Paz.

"La Paz women's organizations are holding a large-scale mobilization for peace, respect, and equality in Bolivia," reported the Bolivian state broadcaster, Red Patria Nueva, on Twitter.

In another publication, the outlet indicated that students from Aymara Tupak Katari University are also mobilizing to La Paz to speak out against racism by right-wing leader Luis Fernando Camacho and former presidential candidate Carlos Mesa.

In the cities of Cochabamba, La Paz and Santa Cruz there were attacks by sectors of the opposition against women of the pollera or indigenous race, facts that have been repudiated by representatives of Women's Social Organizations for the Democratic and Cultural Revolution.

In addition, in the cities of Santa Cruz (east), Cochabamba (center), Tarija (south) and La Paz (east), attacks have been reported against public servants, in the vicinity of their workplaces.
