The United States government is working on a deal to send more than $1.000 billion in weapons and ammunition to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's regime.
This was revealed by three advisors to the Congress of that country, cited by the AP agency, although without revealing their names.
According to this information, the shipment will consist of 700 million in tank ammunition, 500 million in tactical vehicles and 60 million in mortar cartridges.
Two of the advisors explained that this lot has nothing to do with the 26.400 billion approved by Congress, on the 24th of last month, for Israel.
This additional contribution occurs despite the fact that even the president himself Joe Biden He publicly questioned the announced ground offensive against the city of Rafah and even suspended the shipment of 3.500 bombs days ago for that reason.
The Israeli prime minister has refused on multiple occasions to suspend the operation in the aforementioned city.
