Google already has its first folding phone, it is the Pixel Fold, a device that we will know in detail on May 10 during Google I/O 2023.
Instead of appearing as a rectangular module that reaches the corners of the terminal, it appears as a subtly rounded “island” shape. It should be noted that Google has only published the images and, for the moment, has not revealed any technical details of the device, Xakata refers.
According to the website hipertextual.com, the Pixel Fold has a 9,5-megapixel front camera with fixed focus and f / 2.2 aperture.
A 48-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization, f/1.7 aperture and 82° field of view. 10.8 megapixel ultrawide camera with f/2.2 aperture and 121° field of view. 10.8 megapixel telephoto with f/3.05 aperture, 21,9° field of view, 5x optical zoom and 20x digital zoom.
In addition to an 8-megapixel internal camera with fixed focus and f/2.0 aperture.
The Pixel Fold will include a fingerprint sensor on the power button, but it will also support face unlock. While for video recording, the rear camera will be capable of capturing images in 4K at 30 frames per second, or in 1080p at 60 fps.
Google would include in the Pixel Fold several of the technologies that are already said to be present in conventional smartphones. These include Magic Eraser, to erase objects in photos, Photo Unblur, to improve blurred or shaky images, and Real Tone, which offers more realistic results on darker skin tones.
It has a 5,8-inch OLED external display with FHD+ (2092 x 1080) resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, 408 ppi pixel density, and 17.4:9 aspect ratio.
Internally, its OLED screen is 7,6 inches (2208 x 1840), 120 Hz refresh rate, 380 ppi pixel density and 6:5 aspect ratio.
It has a Tensor G2 processor with a Titan M2 coprocessor, 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256 or 512 GB storage.
