The adventure of a 13-year-old girl facing puberty serves as the story for "Red," the new animated film from Disney and Pixar. With a charming, laugh-out-loud trailer, more details about the new project were revealed this Wednesday, November 17th.
One of them, in addition to the extended advance, is that singer Billie Eilish and FINNEAS, winners of multiple Grammy awards, teamed up to write the songs for “4 * Town”, the fictional boy band that “breaks hearts” in the film. .
The film is directed by Dome Shi, winner of an Oscar in 2018 for the short film "Bao." Hence, "Red" looks quite close to animation. The film will hit theaters in Venezuela in March 2022.

According to the film's director, the inclusion of the teenage boy band was a must for the story. "We needed our character, Mei, to be obsessed with something her mother wouldn't approve of," Shi said. "Boy bands were the first step into the world of boys for many girls of that age. The band members were all super cute, elegant, delicate, and loving, and they had a unique way of uniting young girls with their best friends. Plus, I thought it would be great to create an animated boy band," she said in an official statement issued by the animated giant.
For the film, the aforementioned musicians wrote the three fictional songs that will be heard throughout the adventure, including the song "Nobody Like U," which appears in the new trailer.
Young actress Rosalie Chiang lends her voice in the English version to Mei Lee, a 13-year-old girl who suddenly turns into a giant red panda whenever she gets too excited (which is, pretty much, every time). Sandra Oh ("The Headmistress," "Killing Eve") provides the English voice of Ming, Mei Lee's overprotective, somewhat overbearing mother. She's never far from her daughter, an unfortunate reality for the teenager.
