Parents and guardians are expected to save between 50 and 60 percent on school supplies and uniforms at the 2026 school expo, located near Bolívar Square in the city of Cumaná.
The activity is carried out with the participation of institutions such as the Ministry of Commerce, the National Superintendency for the Defense of Socioeconomic Rights (Sundde), the Great Mission Venezuela Woman, the Women's Development Bank (Banmujer), the National Institute for the Development of Small and Medium Industry (Inapymi) and the National Anti-Drug Office (ONA).
In this regard, Milagros García, coordinator of Banmujer in the state of Sucre, highlighted that the initiative seeks to guarantee direct access for families in Cumaná to uniforms, shoes, backpacks and school supplies at affordable and solidarity prices compared to the conventional market.
He assured that this policy promoted by the National and regional Government seeks to protect the economy of the Venezuelan people in the face of the new period of the 2026-2027 school year.
"This event is the result of the collaboration between the Ministry of Commerce, oversight bodies, social protection agencies, and our communities, who, through their previously funded projects such as the 'Cancamure Sovereign Seedbed,' exhibit and market their textile and school supplies at this expo," García stated.
The official stated that the event will also take place in different parts of the capital of Sucre, assuring that the next deployment will be in the Ayacucho square of the firstborn city, in order to guarantee that the population has access to school clothing and educational tools.
