The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, revealed alleged links between Structured Organized Crime Groups (Gedo) known as “Tren del Llano” and “Wilexys” with the outbreaks of post-electoral violence that occurred between July 29 and 30.
Saab claimed that Leopoldo López, through Gilbert Caro, "sent money to pranes to recruit young people to provoke all kinds of violence," while offering a press conference regarding the investigations related to the post-election violence that erupted on July 29,30, 31, and XNUMX.
The highest representative of the Public Ministry presented a video in which Humberto Yanez, pran of Rodeo (indicted for kidnapping and rape) whose alias is "Valle", said he had been contacted by Gilbert Caro, who apart from giving him instructions and giving him money, sent him voice notes from Leopoldo Lopez, who was at his disposal "for whatever he needed", even giving him 5 thousand dollars.
Saab indicated that he has confessions from three pranes with "creepy" criminal records who report having received monetary offers from Gilber Caro, on behalf of Leopoldo López.
Nelson Barreto, known as "El ratón" is another of the pranes presented by the prosecutor, who is detained in the Uribana prison, who has an extensive record for the crimes of illicit trafficking of narcotics, aggravated criminal association, qualified homicide for futile motives and kidnapping, said he had been contacted by Gilbert Caro to get people to cause disturbances in the days following July 28, while coordinating actions with the pran known as El Valle.
Other evidence presented by the Public Prosecutor's Office includes telephone recordings, which show a 17-minute video call between Gilber Caro and alias Valle (Rodeo) in which they request "logistics."

Likewise, a confession was also obtained from Ronald Fernando Mendoza Castillo (alias Santa Rosa); who indicated that he was invited to participate in the violent actions and had links with Gilber Caro.
Regarding Caro, the head of the criminal action recalled that he is linked to three cases: one that occurred in 2017 for carrying an assault rifle and explosive material in his vehicle; another that dates back to 2019 when he participated in violent actions to disturb public order; and a third incident in 2021 when he participated in criminal actions in the La Vega parish of Caracas.
He reiterated that the so-called commandos used criminals to commit all types of actions that led to the death of 25 people.
"All the victims were murdered by this far-right factor," he noted, indicating that 31 types of expert reports have been conducted, including the analysis of 171 videos recorded by the perpetrators of the violence.
Saab explained that during the events carried out by criminals, 192 people were injured, 97 of them members of state security forces. "Where can it be described here that these were peaceful protest demonstrations?" he indicated, asserting that they were "instrumentalized" by GEDO groups, guided by far-right neo-Nazi groups.

He explained that the purpose of the aforementioned drug is to "drive crazy the minds of the people who were going to protest."
He explained that Captagom enters the body, producing a stimulating effect on the central nervous system. "Its effects include a feeling of physical and mental well-being, excitement, mental and physical stimulation, and an increase in alertness and energy levels, as well as hunger suppression, among others."
He indicated that José Luis Miranda Consuegra, a Colombian national, was detained in the Petare parish by the PNB having in his possession 4 units of the synthetic drug Captagom.
The subject was brought before the courts, charging him with the crimes of illicit drug trafficking in the form of distribution.
