Members of the Comprehensive Aerospace Defensive System of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), with their fighter planes, disabled the illegal aircraft of the Colombian Drug Trafficking Armed Terrorist groups (Tancol), number 16 of the year 2022, in the municipality of Rómulo Gallegos, from Apure state.
The information was released by the Operational Strategic Commander of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez, through his account on the social network Twitter.
Likewise, in another message, he indicated that three planes hidden "in a gallery forest adjacent to an illegal airstrip" were also disabled. Venezuela is not and will not be a support platform for the scourge of drug trafficking.
On the other hand, he indicated that the FANB troops, also in patrolling and scrutinizing tasks, located and destroyed 2.000 more liters of acetone seized from the invading Tancol groups, in the José Antonio Páez municipality, in Apure.
Given these actions, Hernández Lárez confirms that the FANB will continue destroying materials and structures of the invading groups in national territory.
"We are not a warehouse, nor will we be a platform for illegal TANCOL groups. Venezuela is a free and peaceful territory!" he said.
