Anderson Miguel Dávila Machado (24), accused of assassinating former councilor Edmundo Rada (Popular Will), fled to Colombia, according to sources in the judicial system.
Dávila Machado went to the neighboring country because of the trails opened on the San Antonio del Táchira-Cúcuta border axis, according to the search carried out by Venezuelan security agencies. The subject has an arrest warrant issued by the 34th Control Court of Caracas.
The former councilor Rada was assassinated with a shot to the head (entry and exit) that Dávila Machado dealt to him in the middle of a discussion they had on October 16. Rada and his attacker met at the home of Tibisay Vilera, a former partner of the political leader.
Dávila Machado was Tibisay's new partner. But Rada came to her house that day to bring her a meal for her pit bull dog. Tibisay was not at the house and received a call from Dávila Camacho, who informed him that Rada had been killed.
The corpse was hidden in the bathroom of that house where it remained for 15 hours, as declared by the Minister of the Interior, Néstor Reverol. Then the body was abandoned in a sector of Guaicoco, Sucre (Mir) municipality, where they burned it.
So far the only person arrested for that crime is Tibisay Vilera. They need to capture Nerio José Otamendi Vásquez (27), Keiler Alberto Duarte Urbaez (24) and Anderson Xavier Cedeño García (21).
