The Caracas Lions continue with their yoke against La Guaira Sharks by beating them 4-3, being the third time in the campaign in which they beat the sharks, although this time with suspense, by leaving them on the ground in the 11th inning.
José García was in charge of unleashing the celebration, when an unstoppable with full bases and no outs sounded for Jhonny Pereda to score, after having started the inning at second base by the Pan American rule.
The game was a give and take, in which the long-haired men stung forward with a double drive from Jesús Solórzano in the second inning. However, in the fifth Júnior Sosa turned the score around with a two-line RBI single.
Caracas went back up in the eighth, thanks to hits from Pereda and Ericson Leonora. But in the ninth Diego Infante gave an uncoggable with two outs to bring Romer Cuadrado home, although finally it would be the capital's who would give the finishing touch in extra innings.
