During the morning of this Tuesday, Cardenales de Lara made the appointment of Luis Ugueto official as his manager for the 2019/20 season of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) that begins on November 5.
The current Venezuelan baseball champions made the announcement through their account on the social network Twitter.
In this way the twilight set ends the link they had with José Moreno, who decided not to continue with the team so as not to risk being sanctioned by the United States, the country in which he has resided for approximately 10 years.
Moreno was the Cardinals coach during the previous two seasons, being the last one where his work stood out the most as they managed to be crowned LVBP champions.

With this appointment, Ugueto returns to the team where he made his professional debut in Venezuela and where he played for 10 seasons between 2001/02 and 2010/11, in which he hit 428 hits, hit 14 home runs and drove a total of 150 runs, also left a batting average of .281.
It should be noted that this will be Ugueto's first experience as a strategist at any level of professional baseball.
