Willson Contreras added another accolade to his Major League career by being honored with the award Heart and Hustle (Heart and Effort).
This award, given annually by the MLB Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA), rewards the players who best demonstrate passion, desire and respect for the values of the sport.
Unlike other awards, this is the only one voted on exclusively by former Major League Baseball players and legends. Furthermore, the MLBPAA First, select one representative from each of the 30 franchises in the circuit, and then choose the overall winner from among all the nominees at the end of the regular season.

Knowing this, the Venezuelan received this recognition thanks to his attitude in the game, his dedication and ability to work as a team, leading the "red-spotted" team, in a season in which he is being a protagonist with the bat.
Finally, with this recognition, Contreras reaffirms the impact of his game and his commitment to the organization as a whole, being a valuable resource both on and off the diamond.
