This December 12 begins the Venezuela Softball Super Cup fast, which will count with the participation of eight teams, and will take place until the next 15 of this month in the stadiums of the facilities of Fort Tiuna in the city of Caracas.
The event, which will be open to the public, will be held with two groups made up of four teams: Pirates of Caracas, Cousins of Miranda, Members of La Guaira y Bunker Sports, will integrate the group A, while Sugar from Aragua, Guanteño Soy, Rockies from Lara y Loney tunes will be in the B Group.
This championship that celebrates its fifth edition, will serve to pay tribute to the legendary pitcher of the national team, Erick urbaneja, who will end his career after finishing this tournament.
The first classified of each group will advance directly to the semifinals that will be contested on Saturday, while the second of groups will cross against the third to define the other semifinalists.
The grand final will be played on Sunday at the stadium Hugo Chavez, from 12 pm.

During the press conference of the official presentation of the cup, he was present Maria Soto, President of the Venezuelan Softball Federation, entity that endorses the realization of this tournament.
"For us, supporting this tournament is a pleasure," Soto began. "This is a great opportunity for softball fans to enjoy these players who almost never have the opportunity to show themselves in national competitions, and I'm not just referring to the already established figures; this tournament will also feature players who represent our future," added the former player and captain of the women's team.
