FC Barcelona's great hope, Lamine Yamal, became the youngest player to reach 50 goals in Europe's top five leagues on Monday after scoring two goals in the 5-2 victory against Rayo Vallecano.
The information was confirmed by the club itself through its social media, where they highlighted that Lamine achieved this feat at just 19 years and 49 days old.
Yamal managed to score the second goal of the game against Rayo thanks to a powerful shot that went into the top corner, and he completed the rout in the 90th minute with a well-placed shot.
With this record, Lamine surpasses the mark set by Frenchman Kylian Mbappé, who reached 50 goals at 19 years and 241 days old. Third place belongs to Norwegian Erling Haaland, who achieved this feat at 20 years and 196 days old.
The five major leagues in Europe are LaLiga, the Premier League, Ligue 1, Serie A and the Bundesliga.
