José Mourinho analyzed his team's narrow victory in a match marked by constant back and forth against Inter Milan, a team that caused clear problems for the "White House" in the second half.
"The game could have ended 5-1 or 6-6, it's crazy and I don't like it. I much prefer having absolute control and not depending on a goalkeeper," declared the Portuguese coach, highlighting the value of the three points at the start of the competition.
The Portuguese coach praised Thibaut Courtois for his impactful saves during periods of intense pressure from the opposition. "If they don't give Courtois the Man of the Match award today, they'll never give it to him," Mourinho stated.
Regarding the fans' reaction to Vinicius Jr.'s current form, the manager backed the Brazilian's effort on the pitch: "He's working harder than ever... Since he's not at his peak, he's made a lot of sprints all over the field. The time will come when he'll decide matches."
