900 entrepreneurs from Guayana Esequiba served at banking event

They provide support to the commercial and entrepreneurial sector in Bolívar and the Essequibo region.

Approximately 900 entrepreneurs from Guayana Esequiba were served during a comprehensive banking event in the Las Claritas sector of the Sifontes municipality, as part of the socio-economic consolidation plan being carried out by the government in different communities.

With the presence of teams from the Digital Bank of Workers (BDT), the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the National Integrated Service of Customs and Tax Administration (Seniat), the beneficiaries were able to open personal and legal accounts, as well as update the Tax Information Registry (RIF), without having to travel to another town.

Governor Neil Villamizar announced the rollout of these initiatives in all productive localities in order to revitalize each economic sector and contribute to the sustained growth of the state.

“Our goal is to empower the people of Guayana Esequiba, giving them the tools and opportunities to advance their ventures and develop in any area,” Villamizar said.

The regional authority assured that the application of this public policy will allow the growth of new productive sectors that seek to connect each product created with other municipalities in the state.

The tourism, gastronomy, mining and commercial sectors stand out among the ventures.
