The American chocolate brand created by Guyanese chocolatier Lilibeth León Siso, Lyons, received seventeen awards at the Chocolate Bar Awards of the International Chocolate Salon competition.
Their Teresa 68% dark chocolate bar, made with Venezuelan cocoa aged for two years in barrels, won gold and silver medals in various categories, as well as honorable mentions for best texture, best flavor and most original bar with a score of 4,5 stars.
Meanwhile, Florida 70%, a creation that combines Venezuelan cocoa with Florida orange, received gold and silver awards with a 4-star rating; and Cautivante 67%, a dark chocolate with citrus notes of lime and lemon, flavored with ginger, was awarded a silver medal and received a 4-star rating.
