They give tablets to 40 indigenous students of the Gran Sabana

Thanks to a joint effort between the Ministry of Popular Power for Indigenous Peoples and the Ministry of Popular Power for Education, 40 tablets were delivered to indigenous students from the Gran Sabana municipality in Bolívar state.

The head of the indigenous portfolio, Yamilet Mirabal, who was accompanied by the Deputy Minister for Living Well María Soledad González, reported that these portable computers were intended for students of Tourism, Administration and Informatics at the Nicolás Meza Commercial Technical School.

"In times of pandemic, education cannot be stopped. For President Nicolás Maduro, it is essential that as indigenous people we have access to technology for greater fluidity of communications and an optimal teaching-learning process; we know that these tablets will be very useful to these young people who requested our support to continue preparing for their careers," he said.
