The Governor of the Falcón state, Víctor Clark Boscán, held a working table with the different representatives of the entity's tourism sector to present the 2022 tourism action plan, in order to boost the local economy.
The project is focused on the five strategic axes of the Falconian geography, so each area will boost its potential, however, the most preponderant are the Morrocoy National Park, the historic center of Coro and the Paraguaná Peninsula.
He stressed that among the plans, the strengthening of public services in the different localities stands out, in order to guarantee the necessary conditions for locals and visitors.
Likewise, it seeks to encourage service providers and take advantage of existing hotel capacity. To do this, promotional campaigns, environmental care, and links with travel agencies are proposed.
However, he recognized that in the last holiday season of the year, the falconian east coast registered a good influx of vacationers in its different historical monuments, for this reason, he affirmed that a new airport is necessary in the aforementioned coastal area.
The event was attended by the different chambers, associations, guilds, service providers and other representatives of the commercial sector of the region, who debated and evaluated the new work proposals presented by the regional Executive, which are aimed at continuing to consolidate Falcón as the preferred destination for tourists in the country.
