Officials of the Special Action Force (Faes) of the Bolivarian National Police, in Mérida state, dismantled a gang dedicated to the illegal filling of domestic gas, at the plant of the regional company Nevado Gas, which operates together with Pdvsa Gas, located in the El Salado sector, in the Campo Elías municipality.
It was learned through the police part of the institution, that four men were arrested in flagrante delicto, while filling 40 10-kilo cylinders, in the early hours of Monday morning, they were seized by a white Toyota long chassis vehicle , which contained 30 more cylinders inside.
The four apprehended subjects were placed at the order of the Public Ministry, the body that prosecutes them and also investigates the degree of internal complicity in the Nevado Gas company.
According to the police, the procedure carried out by the Faes was carried out, after making complaints about irregularities in the filling plant.
