What improvements will come with The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered?
This release has been one of the most leaked, and unofficially, several new features are known to be coming (so we recommend taking that information with a grain of salt until an official reveal).
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered will reportedly feature a visual and mechanical overhaul. The outlet MP1ST reported that there will be improvements to the game's locking system that have been inspired by Souls-like games, while stealth icons are now highlighted in the new system.
“The stamina system has been reworked to be less frustrating for the player, making the knockdown that occurs when stamina runs out more difficult to trigger through changes to the calculation methods,” the post stated.
The HUD was modified to make it easier to understand and more appealing to younger players. Hit reactions were also added to improve the response to damage dealt to the player and NPCs. Finally, archery was improved to make it more playable and modern, both in third- and first-person view.
