Pediatric care, services for adults, senior citizens, a pharmacy service with free medication delivery, and a laboratory were some of the services received by the residents of Kilometer 88 of the Guayana Esequiba.
More than 5 people were served during this event, which also provided free medicines according to each pathology; this was reported by the sole health authority, Dr. Julio Matos, who explained that these events are held every week in different locations throughout the state.
The event organized by the Governor's office also included screening for high blood pressure, diabetes mellitus, dengue fever, malaria, and other endemic diseases that may be common in this area.
During the medical-assistance activity, vaccination was also carried out for boys and girls against toxoid, antitetanus, pentavalent, yellow fever and all vaccines relevant to the development of each infant.

It was also learned that the Governor's Office has simultaneously developed a weekly medical care plan for the different indigenous communities, which are located far from the main urban areas of the region.
