A large caravan of motorcycles took to the main streets of the administrative capital of Guayana Esequiba, in the Sifontes municipality, where they demanded the cessation of sanctions and raised their voice in favor of national unity.
During the extensive march, children, young people, women and adults, chanting slogans, assured that they would continue to mobilize in the streets until they achieved the end of the blockade and the free development of the nation.
Héctor Rodríguez, Minister of Education, led the activity along with his counterpart from Ecological Mining, Héctor Silva, who accompanied the governor of the entity, Neil Villamizar, who assured that the people of Essequibo, faithful to their libertarian roots, will not rest until achieving the "popular victory of the country".
Villamizar pointed out that this National Pilgrimage day highlights the "goodness and resilience of a people who will not deny their Bolivarian identity and their sovereign right to decide their destiny, a destiny that will be guided by their people."
The governor maintained that it will be the Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace "that will achieve victory and ensure the well-being of the collective over the imperial and selfish pretensions of the opposition sectors."
