The president of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), Maikel Moreno, held a meeting on Friday with the ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Venezuela, Li Baorong, in order to ratify inter-institutional cooperation between the Venezuelan Judiciary and the Supreme Court of the Asian nation.
At the meeting, which took place at the headquarters of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Caracas, Moreno stressed the importance of the ties of cooperation, which are the "faithful reflection of the brotherhood that exists between the peoples of both nations," according to a press release from the Judiciary.
He reiterated his willingness to continue to strengthen and strengthen relations between them and, in turn, to advance China's support in the systematization of the Venezuelan Judiciary, as established in the memorandum of understanding signed in 2017, with its counterpart in the Supreme Court of the Asian country, Zhou Qiang.
For his part, the ambassador of the Asian nation thanked the "close ties of friendship" that Venezuela and China currently have, as reported by AVN.
