Through his social media accounts, President Nicolás Maduro shared a series of photographs this Sunday accompanied by a message in which he affirms that, together with his wife Cilia Flores, he remains firm and with his faith in God intact.
This is the first time the president has posted images of this style on his digital platforms. In them, he can be seen wearing glasses, making the "V" for victory sign with his hands, and dressed in a gray tracksuit.
"A small gift of love and hope," she expressed at the beginning of the post.
"I'm sending these photos as a small gift to all my grandchildren, to the boys and girls, and to all the kind people who love us. I want you to know that we are standing strong, our hearts full of your love, that love which reaches us transformed into prayer, constant action, solidarity, and true support. Thank you so much for every word, every gesture, every blessing," she said.
He also urged his followers to enjoy “this small gift with joy and hope. Cilia and I embrace you forever, with our hearts set on you and our faith in God undiminished. As the Apostle Paul says: ‘But in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us’ (Romans 8:37). We will remain strong, serene, and confident: God is with us. God will provide. Venezuela will be reborn,” he concluded.
