Maduro to those who support sanctions: The country doesn't hurt them, it's their soul that rots

In response to the US coercive measures against Chevron, he stressed that the national government “will not be stopped by anything or anyone”

President Nicolas Maduro said that the extremist opposition supporters of the so-called sanctions against the national economy are people who “do not care about the country; we are talking about people whose soul has rotted away.”

“[We are] talking about fascists, about Nazis; because one of the most dangerous Nazi-fascist groups has also emerged from Venezuela. That lady [María Corina Machado] represents, beyond what can be said, a Nazi-fascist group from Caracas,” the head of state argued this Thursday during the podcast broadcast “Maduro Lives Suddenly”.

In response to the statements of extremist opponents, Maduro called for “justice” and emphasized that the national government will not be stopped by anything or anyone. “Wherever they come, we go out, and we go out to win, and we come out well. Wherever they put it, I have it for them,” he added.

Absolute Productive Independence Plan

Following the restrictive actions of Donald Trump's administration against the American oil company Chevron, the Venezuelan dignitary confirmed that the Absolute Productive Independence Plan is already active to protect hydrocarbon production in the country.

“There will be no drop in production, not even a litre or a barrel. On the contrary, oil production will continue to grow, because we are talking about oil, but this country produces many other things, and there are plans for industrial growth, agricultural growth, food, agro-industrial, technological growth, telecommunications,” he said.

Maduro said that “nobody will be able to block Venezuela” and in the face of the so-called American sanctions “we will move forward, we will recover, we will grow, we will produce, and they will not affect the lives of the people.”
