Jorge Rodríguez: TSJ ruling preserves social health and peace in the country

Rodríguez recalled that during the Electoral Chamber's expert opinion, the former far-right candidate, Edmundo González Urrutia, did not go to court and the parties that support him did not present the minutes.

The ruling of the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) is the result of the functioning of a healthy and efficient State that preserves the social health and peace of Venezuela, highlighted this Thursday the president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez .

In statements to the official Venezolana de Televisión channel, he said that “it constitutes a historical milestone of what the functioning of a State represents with the roles that each of the Public Powers exercises in matters of collaboration between the powers, of concomitance in the development of those powers and, mainly, what is the ultimate goal of the functioning of a State, a healthy State, an efficient State, which is to preserve the social health of the country, preserve the peace of the Republic.”

Furthermore, it preserves the inalienable principles of sovereignty and independence of the country and signified the wisdom that the three judges of the court established in ruling 031 released earlier.

He added that this sentence has to do with the approach made by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, in the midst of the fascist plan that the extreme right carried out after the elections on July 28, with which 25 Venezuelan men and women were murdered.

He highlighted that it consisted of a well-orchestrated coup with the entire communication platform, the support of imperial de facto powers and “with the voice of the lackeys who always beat the drum” like the president of Chile, Gabriel Boric.

Rodríguez recalled that during the Electoral Chamber's expert opinion, the former far-right candidate, Edmundo González Urrutia, did not go to court and the parties that support him did not present the minutes.

Earlier, the Electoral Chamber of the TSJ certified the results announced by the National Electoral Council (CNE) on the elections in which the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, was elected.

In the ruling, they specify that the court certifies in an unobjectionable manner the expertized electoral material and categorically validates the results.
