On the occasion of the Feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, the Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Félix Plasencia, shared with the Armenian community at the Apostolic Church of St. Gregory the Illuminator; later, with the Lebanese community at the Maronite Church, Monastery of St. Charbel.
The minister, on behalf of the Bolivarian Government, confirmed that they will continue to strengthen ties with these communities that have historically integrated into the country and contributed to its growth.
“The Armenian and Lebanese communities have been living in Venezuela for decades. Their idiosyncrasies, gastronomy, and beliefs have enriched our culture for years,” the foreign minister highlighted in a post on his social media.
