A total of 447.593 voters registered in the electoral registry have some disability according to the final cut of July 15, 2021 made to the aforementioned registry, announced the rector Tania D 'Amelio.

Aragua and Miranda have a little more than 10% of people with disabilities, while Amazonas and Delta Amacuro register 3.426 and 2.572 voters with visual and motor disabilities, among others, according to data issued by the Electoral Power.
To serve this sector of voters, the National Electoral Council created a commission that will be in charge of assisting and guaranteeing, with all the necessary adaptation of the electoral system, the participation of people with some type of disability.
The president of the electoral body announced in July the creation of the aforementioned commission that will have the advice of the National Council of People with Disabilities (Conapdis), the Citizen Attention Office of the Ombudsman's Office, among others.
For the upcoming regional and municipal elections on November 21, the electoral body announced that they will activate table number one in all voting centers that will only serve people with disabilities who are duly certified by the National Council of People with Disabilities.
Rector D 'Amelio reaffirmed that in recent decades the Electoral Power has made great efforts to guarantee the right to vote for people with disabilities.
