Vice President held a meeting with a delegation from Burkina Faso

The chancellor of Burkina Faso arrived in Caracas this Monday to strengthen ties of cooperation and brotherhood with the country

The Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodriguez, held a meeting this Tuesday with the official delegation of Burkina Faso, which will fulfill a work agenda in the country.

The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, as well as the Vice Minister for Africa of the Ministry of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yuri Pimentel, also participated in the meeting – held at the headquarters of the Vice Presidency of the Republic.

For its part, the delegation of Burkina Faso is headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and the Affairs of Burkinabees Abroad of Burkina Faso, Karamoko Jean Marie Traore.

Jean Marie Traore arrived in Caracas this Monday to strengthen the ties of cooperation and brotherhood with the country, through the installation of the First Joint Commission between both nations.

Before installing the mixed Commission, the Foreign Minister of Burkina Faso held a meeting with Minister Gil, in which they reviewed the bilateral agenda.

Subsequently, the meeting was held for the installation of the I Joint Commission Venezuela-Burkina Faso, which aims to reach agreements for the development of both nations.

Through his account on the social network X, the Venezuelan foreign minister indicated that this commission shows that "South-South cooperation continues to be relevant and has been valued by our people as the only way to transform the world."
