The President of the United States, Donald Trump, threatened on Tuesday to impose new sanctions against Venezuela and assured that he closely monitors the current situation of the South American nation.
"We are watching Venezuela very closely, we do not like what is happening at all. There could be very serious sanctions," Trump warned during a press conference in India, as reported by RT.
On February 15, the Sectorial Vice President of Communication, Tourism and Culture, Jorge Rodríguez, denounced that the economic and financial blockade of the United States against Venezuela has caused financial damage of more than 116 billion dollars to the nation.
In light of this robbery against Venezuelans, the Bolivarian Government introduced on Thursday, February 14, a lawsuit before the International Criminal Court (ICC) against the United States government, due to coercive measures that threaten the stability of the Venezuelan people.
