President Nicolás Maduro ordered the incorporation of the members of the National Militia to the Bolivarian Military University and the immediate creation of the Anti-imperialist School for the training of the more than 3 thousand militiamen and women that Venezuela has.
"That the militiamen join the Military University as university students," he urged this Tuesday from the headquarters of the Ministry of Popular Power for Defense, where he led a meeting with all the officers and heads of the various components of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces ( FANB).
He said that the training will include workshops, courses and diplomas at the highest university, academic and scientific levels, so that the members of the civic-military union become increasingly professional, reports VTV.
Regarding the anti-imperialist school, he asked that it be "a territorialized school, with face-to-face and virtual modality, with all the university's programs."
Similarly, the President Maduro ordered Minister Vladimir Padrino López to accelerate coordination with the National Constituent Assembly (ANC) so that the reform they advance of the Law of the Armed Forces is elevated to a Constitutional Law, establishing the Bolivarian doctrine in each component and giving more force to the presence of the militia within the military corps.
"The militiamen are military, carry out that order soon," he summarized.
He recalled that the project is advanced and expressed his desire to see it approved promptly, which will reinforce the powerful civic-military union that exists in Venezuela.
