The observation mission —refers to a press release from the National Assemblyl— is made up of parliamentarians Enrique Ramos, Carolina García, Fernando Bastidas, Azucena Jaspe, Carlos Mogollón and Nancy Ascencio.
As part of its agenda in that country, the international observation mission —invited by Ecuador— held a meeting with the President of the Ecuadorian Electoral Power, Diana Atamaint.
In addition, this Venezuelan mission will monitor the voting processes for deprived of liberty and voting at home aimed at people with 75% physical motor disabilities and over 50 years of age.
The participation of the Venezuelan Mission of International Electoral Observers is part of a process of progressive recognition of Venezuelan institutions after the failed attempt to disregard the public powers of the Bolivarian nation during previous years.
This Sunday, more than 13,4 million Ecuadorians are summoned to participate in this extraordinary presidential and legislative elections.
The winners will complete the 2021-2025 period, interrupted last May by the current president, the conservative Guillermo Lasso, by invoking the constitutional mechanism of "cross death" with which he dissolved the National Assembly (Parliament), with an opposition majority, when she was about to vote on his removal.
