The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stated this Sunday in the framework of the electoral simulation for the consultative referendum in defense of the territory of Guayana Esequiba that he returned when peace triumphed in Venezuela.
Through an audio broadcast by the Head of State on his social networks, he recalled that next December 3 is the electoral date where peace will triumph again. "We will tell the world in one voice that Venezuela is united in defending its historical rights. Essequibo Guayana belongs to Venezuela, it is ours."
Likewise, Maduro congratulated all the witnesses and polling station members, as well as the National Electoral Council (CNE) and all those who came out to vote in the simulation.
"Here today we have only one color, yellow, blue and red, tricolor and eight stars, especially shining the eighth star, the star of Guayana, the star of the Liberator Simon Bolivar," emphasized President Maduro.
The head of state commented that the impressive images of the people's participation this Sunday remind him of the simulation for the Constituent Assembly "because of the beauty with which the people come out noble, firm, convinced, conscious to do their simulation and see the electoral system," he said.
In this regard, he highlighted that it is a truly transparent electoral process, with guarantees and high technology.
