In this sense, the national leader asked the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and the popular movements to remain on high alert in the face of possible terrorist action by some of these groups.
“They are not going to take us off the streets, because we are going to a great historic victory on July 28, 2024, write it down!” he expressed.
He recalled that in the last 15 days the security forces have captured two groups with plans to attack the life of President Maduro, one of them in the city of Maturín and the most recent in Caracas during the registration of his candidacy before the National Council. Electoral.
The president highlighted that the two people detained in the center of Caracas They had voice notes on their phones, receiving instructions and photographs, two 9mm pistols and “they are already convicted and confessed.”
He rejected that national extremist sectors, and their accomplices abroad, are looking for mentally affected people to perpetrate terrorist acts, which is why he asked the people to remain alert during street mobilizations.
