Delcy Rodríguez denounced a false ExxonMobil operation to justify an attack on Venezuela.

He said that the false flag operation discredits our country before the world and criminalizes the Venezuelan identity.

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, denounced this Saturday that the Government of Guyana is preparing another false flag operation to attack the ExxonMobil platform in the Essequibo to justify some form of retaliation and action against Venezuelan territory.

"They plan to attack this ExxonMobil platform to justify some type of retaliation and action against Venezuela, and they plan to do so with a friend of Mrs. María Corina Machado, and with an American mercenary named Erik Prince, who would be in charge of this false flag operation," he indicated.

From Bolívar state, the senior official said that not only stateless opposition leader María Corina Machado is involved in this strategy, but also Secretary of State Marcos Rubio and US mercenary Eric Prince. "They seek to criminalize the Venezuelan identity by saying that Venezuelans are criminals."

Rodríguez referred to Prince's criminal record, describing him as a hitman who has been used in Middle Eastern countries. He then highlighted that in the last presidential elections on July 28, this individual promoted a campaign to assassinate President Nicolás Maduro and attack other Venezuelan officials. "Donate money, we'll bring them down, we'll kill him. This hitman is the one raising this false flag."

Rodríguez emphasized that on February 18 of this year, Guyanese security forces "mounted a false flag operation to blame the Venezuelan government, and this action occurred the day before a meeting of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), where Guyana presented itself as a victim. They are shameless thieves."

Referring to the document containing evidence of the lobbying carried out by ExxonMobil for the revocation of Chevron's oil license in Venezuela, Vice President Delcy Rodríguez stated that "we are still waiting for ExxonMobil's response, because we showed a document that shows that this company, together with Machado, asked Donald Trump to revoke Chevron's license, which has been operating in Venezuela for more than 100 years, so that the resources from that oil exploitation would not reach it."

He even recalled that it was also proven that the US oil and gas company "has been involved in all the conspiracies to overthrow the legitimate government of Venezuela, to assassinate its authorities, but they remained silent. And silence gives consent."

Guyana steals Venezuelan oil and gas

Vice President Delcy Rodríguez asserted that Essequibo Guayana belongs to Venezuela, "because it is a territory we inherited from Simón Bolívar, and we are going to defend it."

He also criticized Guyana for "constantly violating maritime boundaries, illegally exploiting oil and gas resources that belong to Venezuela. They also steal oil and gas that belongs to Venezuelans."

In this regard, he said that this new plan was intended to be finalized a few days before the IX Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), scheduled for April 9 in Tegucigalpa, when Honduras will hand over the Pro Tempore Presidency of this intergovernmental mechanism to Colombia.

In this case, the Executive Vice President of the Republic warned that the objective of this attack on the Exxon Mobil platform, which is located in waters pending delimitation between Venezuela and Guyana, "was to take advantage of this international event to tarnish Venezuela's image, after being criminalized and placing the Guyanese government of the Caribbean Zelensky, Irfaan Ali, in the role of victim."
