The support of the international community for the negotiating table is becoming more evident, as evidenced by the pronouncements issued, such as that of the United States, the European Union (EU) and Canada, which expressed their willingness to review sanctions policies against Venezuela under the condition of "significant progress" in the dialogue process.
"We urge all parties to participate in good faith to reach lasting agreements that lead to a comprehensive solution to the Venezuelan crisis," says the text signed by the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken; the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell; and Canadian Foreign Minister Marc Garneau.

This Saturday in the United States, a group of 19 Democratic legislators asked the Secretary of State to immediately lift the financial and individual sanctions against the Venezuelan government through a letter sent on August 12, reported La Voz de América.
There they call for a "direct dialogue" with the government of Nicolás Maduro and a broader spectrum of Venezuelan political actors that includes the moderate opposition that is not aligned with former deputy Juan Guaidó. For his part, President Nicolás Maduro highlighted the support of the 33 member countries of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States for the dialogue process.
