The president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), rector Elvis Amoroso, reported that 167 national organizations, political parties, unions, unions and social movements from all over the country came to the CNE and expressed their interest in joining to participate in the Consultative Referendum of December 3. December in defense of the Essequibo Territory.
From the outskirts of the headquarters of the Electoral Power in Plaza Caracas, Amoroso pointed out that this massive participation that began this Wednesday both at the main headquarters of the CNE as well as in all state offices, according to a press release.
He specified that until noon this Wednesday, 29 organizations with political purposes, 60 Popular Power organizations, 47 universities in the country, 6 unions, 7 unions, 15 civil society groups and three indigenous groups had expressed their willingness to join the Consultative Referendum. .
“We can tell all Venezuelans that the National Electoral Council is a plural institution and welcomes with great joy the national unity in defense of our Essequibo Territory. There are no differences to defend our beloved homeland Venezuela,” he said.
On the other hand, he recalled that all preparations are being made for the mock Consultative Referendum that will take place on November 19 throughout the country.
Great Patriotic Pole
"We, the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), are attending the National Electoral Council (CNE) to express our support, which is nothing less than our absolute endorsement of the referendum we will hold on December 3rd. We can say that this day is a national cause to defend our historical and legal foundations, and, above all, our national identity," said Gabriela Peña, a representative of the red party.
Likewise, he extended the invitation to all parties with different political positions to participate and go to the headquarters of the CNE, which is located in various parts of Venezuela in support of Essequibo.
He emphasized that unity must prevail at this time because "Venezuela is our mother, and it is up to us to defend her with love and awareness because the Essequibo belongs to us."
Likewise, Jocsen Alvarado emphasized that the Youth of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (JPSUV) is present in defense of the Essequibo territory. "We are fighting a battle against the most powerful empire in the world, and we remain standing, because we are a people who do not succumb to pressure from anyone."
For her part, the general secretary of the Patria Para Todos Party (PPT), Ilenia Medina, stated that the Referendum is a commitment to protect territorial integrity.
"Defending the Essequibo is an honor because it's a legacy for our grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and future generations," he urged.
It is important to highlight that the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV), the People's Electoral Movement (MEP), Podemos, tupamaro, Green Party, among others, also expressed their commitment to the CNE in support of the defense of our Essequibo territory.
MAS formalizes support for the referendum before the CNE
The Movement towards Socialism (MAS) delivered to the National Electoral Council (CNE) the necessary requirements to join the support for the consultative referendum in defense of Guayana Esequiba scheduled for next December 3.
The accession document was received by the president of the Electoral Branch, Elvis Amoroso, along with the rectors of the entity.
At the event, Segundo Meléndez, president of this political organization, pointed out that with this action they seek to align themselves with the aspiration of all Venezuelans to recover their territory.
