Cabello: "moral skin" of the people to those who asked for sanctions

Cabello stressed that the people have the morality to question each opposition representative

The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, referred to recent statements by the former president donald trump, who recognized that the objective of supporting the destabilizing campaign against Venezuela was to seize the resources of the South American country.

From the Antímano parish, in Caracas; he leader of the PSUV He stated that this has always been the policy of the American empire, no matter who is on duty in the White House.

In this regard, he recalled that it was former President Barack Obama who signed the executive order declaring Venezuela an "unusual and extraordinary threat to the nation's security."

"Imperial policy is carried out by whoever is there (the United States), whether they're called Trump, Biden, or whoever," Cabello said, recalling that more than 900 sanctions remain in place against Venezuela.

Similarly, he indicated that - despite Trump's statements - there are sectors of the opposition that still maintain their support for the former president and continue with the call for sanctions and the blockade against Venezuela.

These opposition representatives, Cabello said, are the ones who "are now walking the streets with their unwashed faces, wanting to visit the people and be accepted by the people."

Given these facts, Cabello stressed that the people have the morality and responsibility to question each representative of the opposition.

"The opposition is going to come to ask for the votes of the people of Carapita, of Antímano, and you're going to ask them why they asked for sanctions and blockades. They won't be able to answer and will say that you are attacking them, that they are being victims of aggression. Those who asked for sanctions, blockades, and invasions, when they come here, you have to give them a moral beating and tell them: you have no moral authority to visit Antímano or any town in Venezuela," he emphasized.

Despite this, he asked the population to be on maximum alert before the claims of the opposition and new aggressions from the empire.

"Always keep your spirits high. We have the arguments to defeat them in any scenario they choose. If they want elections, we'll go to elections; if they want the streets, we'll go to the streets, but neither by fair means nor foul, they will never govern this country again. Let us always remain vigilant," he concluded.

It's worth remembering that, this Sunday, in a press conference from North Carolina, Trump said: "What do you think about us buying oil from Venezuela? When I left, Venezuela was on the verge of collapse. We would have taken it! We would have taken all its oil! It would have been right next door! But now we're buying oil from Venezuela. We're making a dictator very rich! Can you believe it? Nobody can believe it!"

On the other hand, he promised to recover a health module that is in the parish.
