Cabello: The United States intensifies its policy against migrants

He added that "the issue of the US and how they treat migrants is a sensitive one, which is why it deserves the entire world to take a stand."

The Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello, asserted that while the United States intensifies its measures to persecute and deport migrants, to the point of revoking humanitarian parole, "we continue to welcome them with open arms" through the Return to the Homeland Plan.

He added that "protests continue in the United States over deportations, and today the United States government made an announcement to intensify deportations."

Meanwhile, he emphasized that through the Return to the Homeland Plan, "we continue to receive Venezuelans from the United States and Mexico. Tomorrow, a flight arrives from the United States, and this week, we hope to bring a flight from Mexico."

He added that "the issue of the US and how they treat migrants is a delicate one; it's enough for the entire world to take a stand, because they've started firing people who were working; persecution and terror have intensified. And many of these actions are carried out by mercenaries, who couldn't care less."

He emphasized that this US policy against migrants "has become a business. They announced early on that they were going to increase their efforts to continue deporting, and all of this is part of the arrogance of imperialism."

It is worth noting that on May 8, the Donald Trump Administration He asked the U.S. Supreme Court to authorize him to repeal the legal status granted to hundreds of migrants during the Joe Biden administration.

Then on May 30, Boston, US federal judge Indira Talwani ordered the Trump administration resume "immediately" the processing of humanitarian parole, a program that facilitated the legal entry into the United States of more than 434 migrants from Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua, and Haiti.

However, several protests Protests against Donald Trump's immigration policies and in defense of migrants took place over the weekend in New York, Denver, Chicago, Houston, and Los Angeles.

The European Union is a colony of the United States

When asked about Venezuela's inclusion on the European Union's (EU) list of "high-risk" countries, Diosdado Cabello, secretary general of the PSUV, asserted that this economic and political association of 27 European countries is a colony of the United States (US), as they want to send the message that they control it, but in reality, they are controlled by the Trump administration.

He added that "the European Union (EU) makes a list, because the US has one. Thank God we don't depend on the EU, and they're not going to tell us what we can or can't do. We don't depend on what they say."

Diosdado Cabello asserted that they deserve to be where they are: underground, while emphasizing that it is "a stupid organization."

It is important to highlight that the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, through a statement, categorically rejected the inclusion of Venezuela on the list of "high-risk" countries drawn up by the European Union (EU).

He specified the official statement released on June 10, that "what does represent a real risk is the inability of the European Union itself to protect its interests, its economy and even its dignity", since it is part of "an anachronistic, ageing bureaucracy, disconnected from its people, that today pretends to tutor Venezuela, when it cannot even coherently govern its own space, filled with banks laundering money in their own capitals, officials who look the other way, and tax havens that operate with total impunity within its borders or under its protection."
