Cabello: Cuba counts on Venezuela whenever and against whomever

Neither Venezuela nor Cuba are going to fall, with our peoples they have not been able to and will not be able to, said Cabello

"Cuba has the support and solidarity of Venezuela whenever, however and against whoever," that is why Cuba and Venezuela are one flag, highlighted this Wednesday the first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, in the tribute that is being held in Caracas for the 70 years of the assault on the Barracks Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Cespedes.

"The Cuban people know that they can count on the Bolivarian Revolution for whatever, whenever and against whomever," Cabello reiterated, while thanking Cuba for its constant displays of affection, friendship and solidarity with the Venezuelan people.

For Cabello, it is important to participate in the commemorative events for the 70th anniversary of the assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel Céspedes Barracks, because it is a fact that represents the tireless struggle not to surrender to the empire.

"I express my love for being here, commemorating such an important date for our brother people of Cuba, and the honor has to do with that history of tireless struggle, of battles not against any adversary but against the most powerful empire in the world, the American empire," he stressed.

He noted that only gratitude and admiration can be expressed towards Cuba for, despite the circumstances, always lending a helping hand.

"If there is one thing we can do with Cuba, it is to express our admiration in any field, and Cuba knows that in the Bolivarian Revolution it has brothers whenever, for whenever and against whomever," he said.

"We are grateful to Cuba for the example of its men and women who have never given up and who, despite the difficulties, continue to fight," he added.

Imperialism does not give up

In the speech, Cabello warned once again about the unfounded media campaigns against the sovereign peoples of Latin America, because imperialism never surrenders.

"We must be aware of the campaigns that try to divide people and establish fractures to take advantage of later. They will not stop because of their pride and arrogance," he added.

He explained that "imperialism chooses its objectives, what is good for its friends is bad for us and vice versa."

In this regard, he emphasized that "today America has its sights set on Cuba, 70 years; Nicaragua 40 and Venezuela 30 and a little more on Bolivia. Why? Some say it is because of the natural resources, but in truth it is because we have not given up and we have remained standing despite the pressures."

He also stated that "imperialism is arrogant and does not allow anyone around it to have their own opinion, it gives instructions on what they should say or do and they have not been able to do it with us, and as they say in Nicaragua: They have not been able to and they will not be able to."

no one will fall

The First Vice President of the PSUV believes that neither Cuba nor Venezuela will fall, in the end "the people are what matters and that is why solidarity and friendship must be extended to all people and we must be able to inform and warn, knowing the matrices of opinion that imperialism is creating."

"The fifth columnists who have called for blockades and sanctions, who have burned human beings alive, just for appearing to be Chavistas, will continue to emerge," Cabello said. "In our history there are more than 11.300 young people murdered and that was the school, that was how it was in Cuba under Batista."

He stressed that imperialism "has always wanted to impose its world. We thank Cuba for the example of its men and women who have never given up."

"Let's make July 26 a historic date for the world. It is a date that belongs to Venezuelans, because it was the inspiration for February 4. Things happen with that historical proximity," he said.

For this reason, Cabello said, "Venezuela and Cuba are one flag, we are alike and have many similarities. Our embrace, affection, respect and admiration forever."

Earlier

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, expressed himself through his Twitter account @NicolasMaduro to highlight the historic feat of the attack on the Moncada Barracks that "paved the way for the historic popular movement that put an end to the tyranny, giving a powerful example of struggle and hope for Our America and other peoples of the world.

Assault in Cuba

The Assault on the Moncada Barracks was an action carried out by a group of young Cubans, led by Fidel Castro, who would go down in history as the Centennial Generation, whose objective was to unleash the armed struggle against the dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista (1952-1958). .
