Cabello to Borrell: We don't care about your opinion

He pointed out that the Biden administration is leaving a “minefield” for Republican Trump

The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, criticized the interventionist comments against Venezuela by the outgoing High Representative of the European Union (EU) for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell.

“Borrell, if they were to choose the world's idiot of the year, you would surely be among the top three. And be careful if you earn it, be careful if you earn it because you deserve it,” Cabello argued on Wednesday at the 504th edition of its program With The Hammer Giving.

The Bolivarian leader's comments are in reference to the statements by Josep Borrell at a press conference where he stated that the European bloc “will review the system of sanctions” against Venezuela.

"You have to be as stupid as Borrell to believe that his opinion matters to us. Put your tongue in your shirt pocket and do what you want with it," he stressed.

Trump's minefield

Cabello also said that Joe Biden's administration is leaving a "minefield" for the president-elect of the United States, Donald Trump, to complicate the Republican's mandate when he takes office on January 20.

"But that's their problem. It doesn't matter to us," he said.
