Pasqualina Curcio Curcio (Caracas, 1969) Professor at the Universidad Simón Bolívar (USB). Economist from the Central University of Venezuela (1992), Master in Public Policy from the Institute of Higher Studies in Administration (1995), Doctor in Political Science from USB (2003), with Post-Doctoral studies in National Security: Thought of the Commander Supreme Hugo Chávez of the Bolivarian Military University of Venezuela (2019) and in Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law of the Simón Rodríguez National Experimental University (2020). He attended the International Health Program of the Pan American Health Organization (2003). She is a visiting professor at different universities, including the Bolivarian Military University of Venezuela, the University of Health Sciences, the “Jesús Rivero” Bolivarian University of Workers. She has been invited to the Autonomous University of Mexico, Complutense University of Madrid, Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain. She was coordinator of the postgraduate courses in Political Science at the USB and Director of the Institute of Advanced Studies Dr. "Arnoldo Gabaldón" of the Ministry of Popular Power of Health. He has held various positions in the public administration. He is a member of the Secretariat of the Network of Intellectuals, artists and social movements in Defense of Humanity; the Society for Latin American Political Economy (SEPLA); of the Working Group of Social Studies for Health of CLACSO.
She was distinguished with the 2020 National Opinion Journalism Award for her articles in Últimas Noticias.
