Who will win in Carabobo? (II)

The trend continues: almost all of Carabobo's anti-Chavistas are convinced of Rafael Lacava's triumph on November 21, and more than 90 percent of Chavismo in Carabobo will vote disciplined for Lacava in this process.

In 2017, the popular “Dracula” was elected with 486.654 votes in his favor, 52.75% of the valid votes, 31,16% of the total number of registered voters, in a process in which abstention reached 40,93, XNUMX%.

The MUD candidate, Enzo Scarano has not been able to convince the former opposition social base that this time they should participate because "now the process will not be fraudulent", the thesis that they wielded vehemently between 2016 and 2020.

Pastor Javier Bertucci has deployed a profuse campaign with his organization El Cambio. Let us remember that in 2020 he was elected a deputy to the National Assembly nominated by an alliance of parties that obtained 23,34% of the votes.

The other opposition candidates to run for governor are: Armando Amengual, for the Unión y Progreso party; Roberto Vernet, for the Nuvipa, Red Flag and Min-Unidad organizations, and Luis Felipe Acosta Carlez for the USTED card.

Ricardo Adrián is the candidate of the Popular Revolutionary Alliance and the Communist Party of Venezuela which, in December 2020, totaled 3,28% of the votes in the entity.

Everything seems to indicate that the confrontation between Primero Justicia and Voluntad Popular, and the public recognition of the acts of corruption committed by that great combo that was formed around the G4 and the supposed interim government, ended up convincing the anti-Chavez supporters not to participate in this process. If this hypothesis is verified, it is very likely that Rafael Lacava will win with a greater advantage than the one he obtained in 2017. We said recently that "his jovial and direct style, the personal management of his social media accounts and being in office, make him, without a doubt, the candidate with the greatest capacity to add personal support, in addition to the militant votes."

AND IN THE MUNICIPALITIES?

In 2017, a tube vote led Lacava to governor and gave the victory to thirteen of the fourteen candidacies for mayors presented by the Great Patriotic Pole in Diego Ibarra, San Joaquín, Guacara, Los Guayos, Naguanagua, Puerto Cabello, Juan José Mora, Miranda, Montalbán, Bejuma, Libertador, Valencia and Carlos Arvelo.

In the event of the predicted triumph of the current governor on November 21, and with the proportions that are announced, it will not be strange that a general victory for Chavismo is repeated in the municipal elections.
