In anti-Chavismo the same thing is happening, I don't know if even worse, but today I will talk about the left-handed polo ...
I see that, at present, Facebook y WhatsApp They are the favorite scenarios of a few friends that have always been identified with left-wing factors in Venezuela. I think everyone, at some point, agreed with Chávez, and many worked for the State in those years of fat pigs and cheap dollars. When I have time, and especially the internet, I sit down to read your comments.
Who else post (That's the way it is said, right?), at least of those contacts, they are very pissed off with Maduro, but, strangely, they do not react when Trump and his secretaries of State or Treasury, plus his allies and spokesmen, announce any of the measures they dictate. against Venezuela or its regime or whatever you want to call it, in the exercise of that "extraterritorial jurisdiction" that the US government has always attributed to itself. In the past, nothing activated an anti-imperialist militant more than an interference statement by a Yankee leader. Right now, at least not them. Suddenly you see them on social networks offering donuts or cars for sale in exchange for a few expensive dollars and later they band together to type, identifying with a dogmatic left in which they do not militate, to blame the national government for all the evils, suffered and to suffer.
As for me, I do not debate, everyone will know why they say what they say, and everyone will have the right to do what they consider and vote for whoever wants to do it, even if the arguments they use and the chosen opportunity do not convince us. In short, I am not surprised.
But there is something that does catch my attention: it turns out that if someone declares in favor of the Psuv or the government, they are the victim of incisive harassment inflicted by these rowdy radicals. Now Carola Chávez or José Roberto Duque, who have consistently written what they think for years, are attacked by these champions of participatory democracy and defenders of the rights of the people.
I recently spread the opinion of a young journalist –ah, because of what happened in the student residence in Caracas (by the way, what was that roll?) - and a tormentor, from one of these traditional sectarian parties, charged her with be a job keeper. I confess that I laughed: whoever exercises any function in the government, in these times, is not taking care of a position, is giving birth day by day, fulfilling his role, more out of commitment than anything else, despite a salary that does not allow him to subsist . I don't think this "leader" doesn't know.
It is clear that they have a tremendous need to distance themselves from the government, to be an opposition from the left. And, the truth is, I think diversity is essential and it is cool that they organize themselves because, on their own, these groups of activists – some of whom claim to represent traditional parties – will not go beyond being tiny cells of critical and respectable citizens.
Chávez, with his leadership and his votes, managed to unite almost all the left tendencies plus various religious nuclei, independent, pragmatic and many opportunists, during the oil “bonanza”. Now, after these five consecutive years of sieges, blockades and confiscations, in one of the most difficult times that we have experienced as a people, this inverse behavior was to be expected from a portion of those same individuals.
Who knows how the electoral unit that Chavismo could build for two decades will end. Although, until 2013, we did analysis of the polarized scenario, today we do not have information fresh of what arises in the organizations that make up or made up the Great Patriotic Pole. In the next few days the panorama will be clarified which, by the way, just at the time this writing was finished, was moved with the intervention of the TSJ and the appointment of the boards of directors of two of those parties: PPT and Tupamaro (in addition to those dictated to two awnings on the right: Primero Justicia and AD). Let's review those cases. In advance, I remember when, in mid-2012, the TSJ intervened in Podemos and PPT. And I am sure that some who were horny today, did not even speak that time.
