1. The opposition, MCM, and its "Boobie Command" are fuming and "crying incessantly" about the oil agreement signed by President Delcy Rodríguez and the United States. They claim it's a theft from the nation, that Delcy wasn't authorized to sign the agreement, and that with the Venezuelan people's tacit approval, the president acted as an accomplice of Trump. They're wailing all over social media about the agreement that will bring a significant injection of capital from foreign companies to Venezuela, companies that are coming here to produce and boost oil production. They make these criticisms while pretending to be staunch nationalists and defenders of Venezuela's resources and rights. But who begged the United States to come? Who spent 29 years on their knees begging the US to invade us? They're just trying to portray themselves as the ones who truly care about the country, when it's been the complete opposite. Now, there's a crucial question: Would MCM have secured a better deal for Venezuela? If she had stood up to the United States and challenged them on the agreement, what would have happened? We doubt it, and I believe that, on the contrary, she would have bowed down to Trump and handed over, without any compensation, not only the oil but all the wealth of the Venezuelan people. MCM and her filthy group shouldn't claim they didn't know how the Americans operate. They shouldn't now, with a false sense of nationalism, claim they're defending the country when in the past they used every strategy to provoke the United States into attacking and invading us. They shouldn't tell us they didn't know the United States would only attack us, hand over power, and not take a single drop of Venezuelan oil. They continue with their cynicism, their lies, and their false prestige of believing themselves to be more Catholic than the Pope. That's their nature: traitors to their country…
2.- Sanctions and invasion are no longer the solution to Venezuela's problems for MCM and his cronies, who believe that Venezuela is represented by Chavismo.
And they realized it, not by chance or because it was the subject of political analysis. No, they realized it simply because they are getting a taste of their own medicine: contempt and being erased from any political action after the attack where innocent people died, the invasion, and the kidnapping of President Maduro and his wife Cilia. It hurts them that, after being used as useful idiots, they now don't enjoy being taken into account or consulted, much less listened to, and that has them on the brink of collapse, in what is only the beginning of that "medicine of contempt" from Trump and Washington. MCM's arrogance has been battered by even more arrogance from Trump, who doesn't even mention her anymore, and we make it difficult for him to remember her. She is practically a political corpse; she has already fulfilled her mission. Only the defenestration of the current process awaited her.
3. And so, MCM and her cronies now insist that an electoral process is the quickest way to set the country on the right path. In other words, they think that a simple "you step aside so I can take your place" is the formula to get Venezuela moving again, but this is a ruse, a smokescreen, because they believe Americans are stupid and easily manipulated. They know that the sanctions are the country's biggest problem, but they wouldn't dream of asking the U.S. to lift them. It's necessary, because Venezuela needs freedom and sovereignty to negotiate its resources without pressure or threats from any country. They are the ones who put Venezuela in the predicament it's in. But MCM's only interest is that she be the one to decide what to do, and that way she will continue to be ignored by those who used her to harm the country, just as she herself often asked them to.
4. We all know, and it couldn't be clearer, that elections will not solve Venezuela's problems. The solution is to let President Delcy govern, to allow the country to act freely and chart its own course, to fulfill the Plan de la Patria (Homeland Plan), to continue benefiting Venezuelans, and for no one to dictate what should be done. We need integrity in the political class, a revival of nationalist sentiment, and for us, united as brothers and sisters, to propel Venezuela toward a better future and progress, but in peace.
5. A sign of this "Venezuela Reborn" is the very satisfactory and promising economic outlook for Venezuela. On the one hand, ECLAC estimates project Venezuela's GDP growth of 6,5% by the end of the year, thus leading the expansion in the region after 21 consecutive quarters of economic growth. "These are important figures, but they are by no means the ultimate goal, because there is still a long way to go to recover an economy severely impacted by sanctions," the president said Monday night in an official address to the nation. However, there has been progress in the macroeconomic area with the reduction of the exchange rate gap from 30% to 12,3% in the last two months, which is extremely healthy and encouraging for our economy. Another figure that has a positive impact is the gradual and progressive increase in oil production. Production has already surpassed 1.230.000 barrels per day, the highest operational figure since 2019. These figures indicate a government that knows what it's doing and a president who understands economics and high-level negotiations. But none of this pleases the opposition, who seem to live in another world. They criticize the positive developments and undermine the ongoing efforts of President Delcy, who has moved like a flyweight, dodging blows from various sides and skillfully evading them with clever feints, elegant stage presence, precise and devastating jabs of intelligence, and patient counterpunches.
6. I am astonished by the absurd and despicable way in which the opposition attacks, with the malicious intent of seizing power in mayoral offices, governorships, and elsewhere. As I said before: I am neither frightened nor intimidated by such charades. They, who demanded sanctions and interventions, now cynically and cowardly complain that some street is in poor condition or dirty. Where were they during the previous administration that they didn't see the state of Maracaibo? They blame all three levels of government, holding them responsible for what they, some disgruntled person, some confused neighbor, or some influencer claims are unaddressed disasters. They make assertions without any basis, and only in the case of Maracaibo, because there is garbage somewhere. Garbage, and a destroyed and forgotten city, almost like it had been laid to rest, was what I inherited when I took office as mayor of Maracaibo a year ago. And in just that short time, there has been a phenomenal turnaround, and the people of Maracaibo are happy and proud to see their beloved city beautiful again. The most disgusting thing is that they bring in influencers who deny the truth through a mutilating spectacle. That's not how politics is done; that's a depressing political show carried out with the greatest malice and ignorance of the new, beautiful, and thriving reality of Maracaibo. I repeat, they won't intimidate us with lies; the people recognize us, and we owe it to them… I love you, my beautiful Maracaibo…
