In a display of direct attention to the communities, the mayor's office of the Díaz municipality and the Government of Nueva Esparta officially delivered drinking water storage tanks to 121 families of the Unión de Las Guevaras Commune.
The governor of the island entity, Marisel Velásquez, highlighted that the initiative seeks to strengthen the local hydraulic infrastructure and optimize the distribution of drinking water through tanker trucks, which will allow communities to safeguard the water resource safely and lessen the impact of the water contingency caused by the failure of the Turimiquire system.
The areas benefiting from this delivery are: Villa Guevara, Maduro Moros, Chaguaramo, Puentecito, and Guevara Norte. During the delivery, a potable water distribution campaign was also carried out using the People's Guard's water tankers and the Hidroven fleet.
The mayor of the Díaz municipality, Kendy Graterol, highlighted the collaboration between the different levels of government and the people's power to address the water service crisis in Nueva Esparta state. He also emphasized that this deployment strengthens community preparedness for the upcoming referendum on October 18th and ensures an effective response to the population's basic needs.

Progress I awaits the same attention. Water tank for families and cistern service.
I have lived on the street of Mary Help of Christians for 16 years and I don't own a tank, I only have three pipes
My governor is excellent for the work she is doing in all the municipalities, I congratulate her.
