160 women served with the Great Venezuela Mission in Cordero

More than 160 women, of all ages, received care throughout the day of the Great Mission Venezuela Woman in Cordero, Andrés Bello municipality, Táchira State.

The activity was attended by the vice minister of hospital networks, Mayra Oviedo. She highlighted that these days are part of the health apex of the Great Mission.

11 sessions have been held in the state, the last one was held at the “Dr. Villalobos” from the Cordero town, Andrés Bello municipality, “from now on it will be held weekly, every Thursday.”

For his part, the Single Health Authority, Dr. Rafael Medina, reported that a total of 712 services were provided, 11 thousand medications were delivered, in addition to applying immunizations and providing ultrasound, electrocardiogram and cytology services.

Positive Balance

The first lady of the state, Karem Durán de Bernal, highlighted the positive balance that the Great Venezuela Women Mission has had, with 12 thousand committees in the state of Táchira, a figure that exceeded the goal at the national level, and more than 4 thousand women served through Vertex One of health.

He added that in the rest of the areas, educational, economic, gender justice, there have already been more than six thousand services.

Durán, who is also the president of the Tachirense Family Foundation, assured that the main objective of the Bolivarian Government is for Tachirense women to achieve “self-recognition” and develop life projects that lead to their empowerment at any age.
