Orphan Massacre perpetrated the crime

A woman who was kidnapped by the Huérfano Masacre criminal gang was rescued early this Thursday in the Monte Pío sector, Cabimas, according to military sources.

The rescued woman is identified as Yujani Gutiérrez de Arteagas, who had been held since last Sunday, according to the National Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Command (Conas).

The victim's husband reported the incident to the aforementioned elite group of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), whose agents designed a plan to rescue the woman.

The criminal gang Huérfano Masacre owes its name to its founder Jesús Ignacio Betancourt Pimentel. These subjects demanded a large sum in dollars to free the victim, according to the report.

Members of the El Indio gang are arrested. In another procedure, Conas agents arrested three members of the El Indio criminal group, which operates in Los Valles del Tuy and other sectors of Miranda. In this case, the arrest of the subjects occurred in the Madre Nueva sector, Páez municipality (Río Chico), where military officials seized a 12-gauge shotgun, with no visible mark or serial number, a facsimile, a machete-type knife and two telephone sets, the report says.

All the material was in the possession of Luis Miguel Ávila Cedeño (the Baron), Keider Daniel Burguillos Olivo (the Zamuro) and Robert Luis Velásquez Sifontes (the Indio).

The subjects were reported by several victims, who reported that the criminal group demanded large sums in dollars from them to let them work and live, according to the investigations.

Conas agents continue the investigations to find the collaborators of the criminal gang, especially those who lend themselves to legitimizing the capital obtained through criminal acts of the group.
