Teenager dies shot by police officers in Carapita

This Tuesday afternoon, Eliecer Enrique Fuentes Mendoza, the 17-year-old teenager who was shot in the head last Saturday night in Santa Ana, Carapita, died, according to police sources.

The young man was confined in intensive care until he died on Tuesday afternoon.

Precisely this same Tuesday, the presentation hearing of the four detained police officers, identified as Eniyer Sosa Urbina, Leudis Armando Freites Ulloa, Emerson Jhorjan Delgado Azuaje and Enrique José Pacheco Media, took place.

The uniformed men were transferred to the 16th Control Court of Caracas where the representatives of the Public ministry He was charged with aggravated homicide executed with treachery and for futile reasons in the degree of frustration and improper use of an organic weapon.

This accusation was made before the death of the teenager, so a change in classification is expected in the pre-qualified crimes from the Public Ministry, explained a source.

The Court accepted the accusation and decreed deprivation of liberty for the four officials.

The initial investigations were undertaken by a PNB commission appointed by its board. And upon learning of the facts, they chose to hand over to the Cicpc the group of uniformed officers identified in the acts of violence that occurred in Carapita.
